"There has never been a time when I didn't have a relationship with God. Even as a small child I knew that I had a friend in Jesus. It was that very knowledge that gave me great comfort during my darkest hours. In the most trying of circumstances, I have always found peace in Psalm 46:10.

God has blessed me tremendously. It was always my dream to write and words can't express the joy I felt when I sold my first novel. Over a three-year period, He blessed me with a total of ten sales in the general fiction market and I was completely overjoyed. However, there was always something in the back of my mind that didn't feel quite right.

At that point I started to feel uneasy when it came to my writing. I began to question whether or not I was doing what God wanted. I praised Him and I thanked Him daily for my gift- yet I wondered if I was honoring Him with my talent. It was my wish to please God with all that I did.

After much prayer and deliberation, I decided to answer the call on my heart to write Christian fiction. I was pleased when Walk Worthy Press allowed me this opportunity to write the kind of books I believe God wants me to write. I love God and throughout my life He has always been there beside me. There are struggles we as Christians must deal with on a daily basis- but I've learned that they are merely steps toward a closer relationship with our Heavenly Father. There are times we are in the dark about our circumstances. It is my prayer that my stories will minister to the heartbroken, give hope to those without hope, or offer encouragement to others who may be struggling to remain quiet while waiting on God."
