Guidelines
for Manuscript Submission
Although our books are
primarily fiction, our goal is to help our readers grow spiritually
strong by publishing creative, contemporary and entertaining
material with a Christian theme or message consistent with
the Bible.
- The primary protagonist
must already have a strong, personal relationship in which
he or she has already accepted Jesus Christ as his or her
Lord and Savior.
- We publish only contemporary
Christian fiction! Please do not submit any other type of
fiction. Your manuscript should take place in the present,
mainly from the point of view of the chief protagonist.
Use of secondary, Christian and non -Christian characters
is encouraged and may be used to enhance tension, plot or
character development.
- All material should
be the author's original work. Stories that contain scenes
or plot lines that bear any resemblance to previously published
work are in breach of copyright law and are not acceptable.
- Manuscript length
should be between 85,000 and 120,000 words. Work that does
not meet these length guidelines must be exceptional to
be considered.
- We do not accept partial
or unfinished manuscripts nor do we critique manuscripts
as an editorial service.
- All material must
be typewritten, double spaced and on 8 1/2 x 11 paper. No
disc submission. Computer generated material is acceptable,
but must be letter quality and pages must be separated.
Continuous feed computer paper is not acceptable and will
be returned without consideration.
- Do not submit your
material bound in binders, boxes or containers of any kind.
Secure material by rubber bands. Cover sheet must include
your complete name, address, phone number, title of work
and the word count. Please include a complete synopsis and
bio, which includes your spiritual experience and previously
published work(s), if any, with your submission.
- Do not telephone to
confirm whether or not your manuscript has been received.
If you need confirmation, please send the manuscript by
Federal Express, USPS Express Mail or some other mail service
that provides you with a tracking number and a method by
which you can confirm delivery. DO NOT SEND MATERIAL BY
